About the firm

A master plumber’s firm in Virginia Beach.

47 years of plumbing in South Hampton Roads, for homes, businesses, churches and schools.

JME Enterprises Plumbing Services is a Virginia Beach plumbing firm led by Johnny Eiban, a Master Plumber with 47 years of experience in the trade.

We work for homeowners and for businesses, and our advertisement sets out the work plainly: “Residential – Commercial – Water Heaters – Sewer & Drain Cleaning – Water Pumps – Sewage Pumps – Toilets – Faucets – Disposals – Repairs.” It is a short list, and it covers what buildings in this part of Virginia need most.

A master plumber’s firm

Master Plumber is the highest tradesman license Virginia issues for plumbing. It is earned through years of documented work, a journeyman’s license and a further examination on the code. At JME, that experience sets the standard for every job our plumbers do and every price our office quotes.

Anyone can check a Virginia license on the website of DPOR, the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, and we would encourage you to do that for any contractor you hire.

Known by a few names

Customers have known us over the years as JME Enterprises, JME Plumbing, Johnny Eiban Master Plumber, and 1Plumber4U, Inc., “one plumber for you.” It is the same firm, the same master plumber and the same telephone number: (757) 495-4157.

What we stand on

We have described our work as “conscientious service and competitive pricing,” and said that our plumber “won’t charge you an arm or a leg.” We still hold to both. Sometimes the honest answer is that a repair is not ours to make: if a sewer blockage is in the city’s line, we will tell you to call the city before you pay us to come out.

We advertise in the Shepherd’s Guide, a directory of Christian-owned businesses, and our listing there ends with a line we mean: “Senior Citizens, Churches & Christian Schools Discounts.”

The standard

Counted one year at a time.

Forty-seven years is forty-seven marks on the board. Each one stands for a year of crawl spaces, water heaters and sewer lines in this corner of Virginia.

01

Workmanship first

“Dependable workmanship”

Those two words ran across our earlier website. Most plumbing ends up inside a wall or under a house where nobody will look at it again. It should be right anyway.

02

A fair price

“Conscientious service and competitive pricing”

We said then that our plumber “won’t charge you an arm or a leg.” Charging fairly for honest work is the reason customers have called us back for decades.

03

Homes and businesses alike

“Residential – Commercial”

It is the first thing on our advertisement. A kitchen faucet and a restaurant’s sewer line get the same care and the same master plumber’s judgment.

04

Those who serve, and those who built

“Senior Citizens, Churches & Christian Schools Discounts”

This is the last line of our advertisement in the Shepherd’s Guide, a directory of Christian-owned businesses. Ask about the discount when you call.

What to expect

From first call to finished work.

Four steps, and you will know where the job stands at each one.

(757) 495-4157
  1. Call the office

Tell us what is happening. We are in the office Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, and we will arrange a time to come out.

  2. We find the cause

A plumber looks at the problem itself, not only the symptom: why the drain keeps clogging, why the pump runs, why the heater leaks.

  3. You hear it straight

We explain what we found and what it will cost before the work begins. If it is the city’s line and the city’s bill, we tell you that too.

  4. Done properly

The repair is made to code, permitted where a permit is required, tested, and the work area is left clean.

From a fellow contractor

Great company, the best Va beach has to offer if you are in need of any commercial, residential, and service plumbing needs. Johnny Eiban (owner) of 1plumber 4 U is a stand up guy with strong morals and even stronger values , the quality and efficiency of himself and his employees are beyond comparison to his competitors! Don't usually post reviews, but felt compelled to write this as I am also a local contractor in the Tidewater area for 30 years, and can see excellence in a company that goes the extra mile. I highly recommend this plumbing contractor to anyone in the Hampton Roads area.

Sewer line clog, Norfolk

Called Johnny on Sunday late afternoon. He said he would get someone out Monday morning. He called me back and asked if I had called the City of Norfolk. He said they would cover if it was their system. They came out and it was a clog between the house and sewage line. Johnny sent out Brian Monday morning. They arrived early and got it all fixed. Good price too.

Ice maker line

Absolutely great service! Scott and Jason did a wonderful job amending our plumbing for our ice maker. Only called a day before and Kristen was able to send them out the very next day. Very pleased and highly recommend!
